  • Sugar- 2 tbsp
  • Salt- 1 tbsp
  • White vinegar- ¼ cup
  • Asian mustard greens- ½ lb.
  • Green serrano chilies- 3

How To Make Pickled Mustard Greens

  • Heat 2 cups water in a saucepan and add salt, vinegar and sugar. Bring it to a boil and then remove from heat.
  • Use a knife to remove leaves from the mustard greens. Then cut the stem into 2 inch pieces and chop up the leaves.
  • Take a jar and pack it with chilies, leaves and stems of mustard greens. Pour over the sauce prepared earlier. Seal it and refrigerate for 3 days.
