Ingredients For Beetroot Cucumber And Tomato Raita

  • Fresh Curds- 1 ½ cups
  • Boiled Beetroot Cubes- ¼ cup
  • Cucumber- 1 cup chopped
  • Tomatoes- I cup chopped
  • Lightly Crushed Peanuts- 1 tbsp
  • Chopped Coriander- 2 tbsp
  • Chopped Green Chilies- 1 tbsp
  • Freshly Grated Coconut-  I tbsp
  • Sugar- 1 tbsp
  • Salt to Taste
  • Cumin Seeds- 1 tbsp
  • Asafetida- a pinch

How to make Beetroot Cucumber And Tomato Raita

  • First you whisk the curds and add beetroot, tomatoes, coriander, coconut, salt, cucumber, peanuts, green chilies, sugar and keep it aside.
  • After that you can heat a small pan on a small heat and add dry roast and cumin seeds for 1 minute.
  • Then you can add dry roast and asafetida for another 1 minute.
  • Finally you can pour this mixture over the prepared raita and stir fine.
  • Serve with cold.
