Ingredients For Pomfret Green Masala

  • Pomfret Fish – 500g  
  • Cloves of Garlic - 5
  • Ginger - Small in size
  • Green chilies - 6
  • Coriander leaves - 1 Cup
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Grated coconut - 2 tablespoon
  • Onion – 1 big
  • Lemon size Tamarind - 1
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Salt as needed

How To Make Pomfret Green Masala

  • Make slices of Pomfret Fish.
  • Mix ginger, tamarind, coriander leaves, garlic, half Onion, coconut, and Green chilies. Grind them properly.
  • Take a large sauce pan. Put oil in it and heat it. Pour chopped onions into the oil and fry it. Add coriander powder, salt, green mixture, little water, and turmeric powder.
  • Reduce the flame and add gently add Pomfret pieces. Boil it for 5 mins.
  • Pomfret Green Masala is ready to serve. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve with steamed rice.
