Fish Korma is a tasty dish. It is spicy also. It is originated from Mughal cuisine of Indian Subcontinent.

Ingredients For Fish Korma

  • Large Fish - 1 kg 
  • Curd - 1/2 cup 
  • Paste of onion - 1/2 cup 
  • Paste of Ginger - 2 teaspoon  
  • Paste of Garlic - 1 teaspoon  
  • Paste of coriander - 1 tablespoon  
  • Cardamom - 6
  • Cinnamon – 1” size
  • Salt - 2 teaspoon  
  • Oil or ghee - 3/4 cup
  • Green chili - 6
  • Kewra - 2 tablespoon  
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon  
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Fish Korma

How To Make Fish Korma

  • Take the single piece of fish. Do not cut it into pieces.   
  • Add all the ingredients except Kewra and green chilies into the dish used for cooking. Stir it well. Cover the dish with lid and cook over low flame.
  • Turn over the fish atleast once. But be careful while turning the fish.
  • As all the water gets dried, then add Kewra and green chili to the mixture and cook for another half hour over a low flame.
  • Cook till the oil starts floating on top of the dish.
  • Fish korma is ready to serve. Serve it with rice or Tandoori roti.
