Ingredients For Fish Cheese Sauce

  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Flour - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Grated mild cheese - 1 cup
  • Cinnamon - 1 dash
  • Nutmeg - 1 dash
  • Parsley flakes - 1 dash
  • Frozen fish fillets - 4

How To Make Fish Cheese Sauce

  • Use melted butter and blend it with flour and some salt. Now add milk to it and cook, stir it well till mixture gets thickens and starts bubbling.
  • No add grated cheese to the above and mix it till cheese melts. Now add spices to it and mix it thoroughly.  
  • Make sauce for about  1 1/2 of cup. Put over frozen fillets of fish in a greased casserole.
  • Preheat the oven at 350° F and bake the fish fillets for about 1 hour.

Some Useful Tips

Choose sharp cheddar while using packed shredded cheese for bolder flavor. To shred cheese at home use mild, medium, sharp, or extra sharp cheddar.
