Ingredients For Tamarind Chutney

  • Tamarind- 200gm
  • grated Jaggery- 300gm
  • Roasted cumin Powder- 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder- 2 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Black salt- 1 tsp
  • Garam masala- 1 tsp

How To MakeTamarind Chutney

  • Take a cooking pot and fill it with 5cups of water. Put in the tamarind and cook for ten min.
  • Now remove all excess water and add chili powder, jaggery, cumin powder, garam masala and salt. Mix it all well.
  • On put it on flames again and cook till jaggery completely dissolves.
  • Now take out the tamarind pulp from the mixture.
  • Tamarind chutney is ready.
