Banana is a very famous and readily available fruit in India. People prefer to eat bananas as it is when ripe but it can be made into a very yummy chutney too.

Ingredients For Banana Chutney

  • Bananas- 6
  • Vinegar - 3¼ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Cinnamon  powder- 1/8 tsp
  • ground Cloves-  2
  • cardamoms- 2
  • Red chili pepper-  ½ tsp
  • Sugar -1 ½ cups of  
  • Raisins-  4 tsp
  • blanched Almond- 4 tsp

How To Make Banana Chutney

  • Peel off the bananas and chop them up into small pieces.
  • Take a pan and cook bananas in it with vinegar. Keep adding sugar till it dissolves.
  • Take it off the flames and mix in slit almonds, raisins, chili powder, salt and ground spices.
  • Cool, stir and pour into clean jars and cork tightly. Once it has cooled down, place it into a jar and keep it in a safe place for 2 days before serving.
